The Metropolitan Library System celebrated National Library Week with an Oklahoma Author Fair at Belle Isle Library in Oklahoma City. Pen and Keyboard Authors Biruta Harris, Carla Guthrie, John Carpenter and Jim Martin attended the festivities at Belle Isle Library on Saturday, April 12th. There were some thirty authors presenting their creations and signing books for the public. An annual affair, this year there were over 150 visitors.Looking forward to the next Pen and Keyboard book signing event – watch for details to be shared here!
Holly Jahangiri is the author of Trockle; A Puppy, Not a Guppy; and A New Leaf for Lyle. She draws inspiration from her family, from her own childhood adventures (some of which only happened in her overactive imagination), and from readers both young and young at heart. She lives in Houston, Texas, with her husband, J.J., whose love and encouragement make writing books twice the fun.
